I will not expect too much by way of follow-through on Friday, as long weekends at the end of summer tend to inspire a dash for the doors, but a low-level Backdoor Slider setup has me interested in Scripps Co (SSP). Yesterday’s Fast Ball pop did not make the cut due to its short consolidation range and occurrence right at multi-week resistance, but the pent up energy may lead to profits for nimble traders if the markets are pushed higher on Friday.

We will also watch for a move lower in Tiffany & Co if the retailers show signs of breaking lower.
