Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for August 30

Wednesday’s price action amounted to a “do-over” in the markets, and while we managed to capitalize on our trading plan candidates, the intraday reversals have me looking for the sidelines going into the holiday weekend. We have been mostly short and very profitable for some time now, but too many trips to the well can be problematic, and the extreme market swings we are experiencing could indicate a potential turning point.

Looking to Thursday, Energizer Holdings Inc (ENR) looks like a potential long 3-2 Pitch setup on further strength.
