Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for April 4

On Wednesday, we’ll be looking for wide range follow-through and expansion reversals. The market made an extreme move on not-so-extreme volume, so as far as I am concerned we could go either way.

The first stock on the radar will be Edwards & Sons Inc (AGE). The Line Drive move in the stock has it at new highs, and we will look at its potential as a day trade in the direction dictated by the broader market.

Edwards & Sons Inc (A.G.)

Chicago Bridge & Iron Co N.V. (CBI) had a Line Drive / Fast Ball move on the session and was strong into the close. Julie and I will be most interested in this stock setup as a potential Sinker reversal. We will watch for an attempted rally that fails above the Tuesday high, reverses and violates the closing price. We’ll initiate a short sale if industrial goods show weakness.

Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) had a Fast Ball expansion and looks to have upside potential on broad strength in technology and a move that pushes the stock above 54.15.

Computer Sciences Corp

We will also be watching VF Corp (VFC) for a Sinker reversal move lower. The stock left a Fast Ball expansion at new highs and closed just above the session VWAP.
