Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for February 12

We will continue watching American Standard Companies (ASD) on Monday. The stock is still showing signs of weakness, and has been making trending, tradeable intraday moves. Pullbacks to the 8- and 20-period simple moving averages intraday (depending on the strength of the trend that develops) will signal potential entry points.

Amerisourcebergen Corp (ABC) will be on the radar as well. The stock made a solid move on Friday, climbing the intraday trendline throughout the session.

AMERICA MOVIL left a Double Header on Friday. Julie and I will be looking for a short side entry below the Friday low if a clear resistance stop is present in early trade.

Advanced Medical Optics (EYE) is back on the watch list, this time as a Double Header. We will watch for a move below the Thursday low to indicate the start of a potential move back into the recent trading range.

Meritage Homes made a Fast Ball move on Friday, breaking below recent resistance and setting up for a continuation move on Monday. We will be looking for an entry opportunity $0.10 below the low of Friday’s trading.

Payless Shoesource also left a Fast Ball setup on the daily chart and managed to break the 20- and 50-period simple moving averages in the process. We will look for more downside on Monday.
