Tuesdayââ,¬â"¢s trading left us with a potential Sinker setup in Avon Products (AVP). The stock made a 52-week high on expanded range and volume, but was left right at resistance on the session.
Energizer Holdings Inc left a Fast Ball expansion of range and volume after a multiweek pullback left the stock sitting on August 2006 support/resistance and just above the 20-period Simple Moving Average. We will be looking for an advance on strength in the consumer sector.

Forest Laboratories Inc is back on our watch list. That stock made a Fast Ball move on heavy volume and is poised to attempt a breakout of the October range highs. We will closely watch the healthcare and biotechnology sectors prior to taking a position in FRX.

In retail, CarMax Group (KMX) had a Fast Ball move to new highs. Although the stock did nothing wrong in putting the move together, the overextended nature of the market has us looking at this one for its potential as a sinker setup. We will be looking for a pullback in the retail sector to provide a clue as to the beginning of a reversal move.

He transports continue to mount an impressive move, and we will keep watching the rails, with a particular interest in Norfolk Southern Corp (NSC). Todayââ,¬â"¢s Line Drive move left the stock above the 20-period Simple Moving Average for the first time in almost three weeks, and on solid ground going into Wednesday.
