Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for November 22

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for the great response at the Traderâ,"s Expo in Vegas last weekend. I have spent a good chunk of the day today reviewing your emails and trying to get responses off.  Those of you I have not responded to yet will see something by Friday.

The rest of Thanksgiving week is most likely going to be characterized by some pretty thin trading. The smartest money will be on the sidelines, as traders start to make their way to their holiday destinations.  If you are one of the â,"canâ,"t stay away types,â, then the following setups might be worth a look on Wednesday.

Claires Stores Inc shows promise as a Line Drive setup. We will be looking for strength in retail (RLX.X) early on for a clue as to the stockâ,"s potential for a continuation move.

Developers Diversified Realty Corp (DDR) is a potential Sinker setup. We need to see evidence that the reits and homebuilders are softening up, but if the stock tries to break out and fails, a short entry may be just what the doctor ordered.

In energy (DXE.X), we will have Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LTD (KMP) on the radar. The stock made a steady intraday move Tuesday and looks ready to continue.

Finally, St Jude Medical Inc(STJ) left an Infield Fly setup on the daily chart Tuesday, and looks ready to reverse lower on Wednesday.

All of this, of course, assumes decent volume and liquidity, which is never a given in pre-holiday trade.

Have a great Thanksgiving.
