Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for November 7

We will keep it light on Tuesday, as election day politics tend to make intraday trading more volatile than we like to see. That said, there are a few Around the Horn setups that we sill be watching.

Coventry Health Care Inc. (CVH) had a Backdoor Slider day on Monday, and has apparent downside to 45.38 on Tuesday. We will look for weakness in healthcare (HCX.X) prior to initiating any short sale.

HSBC Holdings (HBC) is a potential Sinker setup, although ADRââ,¬â"¢s do not typically open and trade smoothly enough to take advantage of the pattern. We will watch HBC during the Tuesday session for signs of a failed breakout.

HSBC Holdings PLC ADS

International Game Technology (IGT) had a Fast Ball expansion of range and volume Monday, and will be on the radar on Tuesday for a continuation move.

McGraw Hill Cos Inc (MHP) is another potential Sinker pattern.  We will look for a move above the Monday high that reverses and moves lower to signal a short sale trigger.
