Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for November 1

Alcan Aluminum (AL) was an extra inning Backdoor Slider setup on Tuesday, and the setup did not disappoint. The stock put in another Fast Ball day, and will be on our watch list for follow-through Thursday.

Centurytel Inc had a Fast Ball expansion of range and volume on Tuesday and looks ready to test the 50 period simple moving average. We will have the stock on the radar on Wednesday.

Mobile Telesystems (MBT) also had a Fast Ball expansion on Tuesday. The stock is at an all-time high, and will be on our list of potential Sinker candidates in Wednesdayâ�,��"�s trading.

Nike Inc is a Switch Hitter going into Wednesdayâ�,��"�s trading. We will look for a move above Mondayâ�,��"�s high prior to initiating any long positions.
