Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for October 4

On Wednesday, we will keep Boeing (BA) on the radar. The stock is in a persistent up trend and made a Fast Ball expansion of range and volume move on Tuesday. Julie and I will be looking for entry opportunities if the stock establishes early support and then moves higher.

Chubb Corp (CB) had a Fast Ball move higher on Tuesday as well. That puts the stock in all time high territory and qualifies it as a Sinker setup as well. Julie and I will be on the lookout for overhead resistance on a breakout to the upside. If the tape reverses or starts slowing significantly, we will be looking for short side entry opportunities.

Quest Diagnostics Inc (DGX) announced a large contract termination on Tuesday and was rewarded with a Fast Ball move lower. We will be watching the stock for further downside on Wednesday.
