Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for September 5

Carnival Corp (CCL) tops the list for Tuesdayââ,¬â"¢s potential trades, as the stock left an Infield Fly setup on Friday and is always a good candidate for a short sale when a pattern opportunity presents itself.

First American Financial Corp (FAF) is also showing signs of weakness, leaving an Infield Fly of its own. This one does not seem to have as far to fall as CCL, but should still be worth a look if the financials fade.

Transocean Inc (RIG) had a Fast Ball move out of a low range consolidation and above the 20-period simple moving average on Friday. We will watch the stock and the drillers for signs of continuation on Tuesday.

Vimpel-Communications (VIP) has been on the radar for a few days as a possible Sinker (a Fast Ball reversal setup), and has left another signal for Tuesday. We will have the stock on screen throughout the session.

Finally, XL Capital (XL) is poised for a move lower after leaving an Infield Fly setup on Friday. We will be looking for a move lower that can break recent 64.85 support.
