Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) traded in an uptrend channel for the majority of Wednesday's trading session. The stock closed at the top of the channel. Whether or not the channel will continue is unknown, but pointing it out and watching it closely at the beginning of the session is important nonetheless.  MSFT has traded relatively strong to the market for a couple weeks now, and deserves attention.

LandAmerica Financial Grp (LFG) is priced at a level of interest. The stock is trading near a support level at 60 that is not extremely solid, but cannot be ignored. Prior to the successful touch at 60 with a bounce on July 18, the stock had approached this level and moved higher two times. I have noticed a few other indications that this stock may be ready to move higher.
