Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for June 13

On Monday, Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) joined the broad southerly migration of the day and left a Fast Ball expansion of range to the downside on the daily chart. I will be interested to see what this one does on Tuesday particularly if it retraces and finds resistance around 47.08.

Speaking of affiliates, Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (AMG) had a Fast Ball reversal at its 20-period simple moving average and is threatening to break recent support.

St. Joe Co. (JOE) also closed the day at the lows of a Fast Ball move, and will be on the radar in our office in the morning.

If the Consumer Sector ($CMR.X) moves lower, we will look for shorting opportunities in Polo Ralph Lauren Corp (RL). The stock left a Fast Ball on Mondayââ,¬â"¢s chart and will probably also be subject to further downside if the market does not find support.

We will exercise caution once again on Tuesday, as the market is severely extended. Nevertheless, the apparent opportunities are on the short side.
