Black and Decker (BDK) made two ââ,¬Â¦ count ââ,¬Ëœem two ââ,¬Â¦ one point moves off Mondayââ,¬â"¢s Fast Ball setup, making for some very nice intraday trading on Tuesday. Lennar (LEN) also provided profit opportunity, although 1/4 point or so was all that was left when the markets decided that Tuesday was reversal day.
The major move in the indices has left many Fast Ball setups for Wednesday. Traders need to be wary of the potential profit taking that is likely to occur at each loss of momentum, but opportunities nevertheless are out there.
Comerica Inc (CMA) made a major move Tuesday and will be on our watch list on Wednesday. The Fast Ball move could provide follow-through, especially after consolidating or puling back to one of the significant ratios.

In the transports, CSX Corp (CSX) seems to be a solid Fast Ball candidate. I will use broader market behavior to time entry into this rail transport stock.

Eastman Chemical (EMN) broke through the 20 period simple moving average and above a choppy consolidation range on Tuesday. I will watch the stock and its behavior relative to the chemical index (CEX.X) on Wednesday. The stockââ,¬â"¢s low relative strength and trouble gaining ground in recent months will have it on a tight leash should the opportunity for a long entry present itself.

In Oil and Gas (XOI.X), Quicksilver Resources (KWK) and Newfield Exploration (NFX) had Line Drive moves on Tuesday. I will watch for indications of continued strength and tradeable pullbacks on Wednesday.

On the short side, Health Net, Inc. did not have a particularly healthy day as the beleaguered HMO continued its recent freefall. I will definitely be on the lookout for signs of further weakness on Wednesday.
