Live Trading Room Stock Setups For May 7

We are still having problems getting follow-through on our stocks. We were able to find a first-hour trade in AIZ, but took a stop-out. There's a possibility of moving in the stop down to 47.84, behind the final pullack before the trust down, but let's log the trade as a stop-out at 47.94.

BIG is the type of trade where I'm really only looking to enter at the Central Pivot, because price came down to the Central Pivot and the distance between the Zero Fibonacci line and R1 Pivot is small. BIG eventually formed a consolidation with a tight stop at the Zero Fibonacci line, making it worthwhile to enter the trade with a target at the 50% Fibonacci extension line. We missed the target by five cents, and trailed out of the trade with a stop under the R1 Pivot. The profit on the trade is only 21 cents, but the stop was only 10 cents.

The best looking trade of the day appears to be RHT. We see a nice move up to the 50% Fibonacci extension, but the stop was too wide, especially with the R1 Pivot blocking the path the 50% Fib extension.

BIG LONG 37.16 37.37 $0.21 Trail hit.
OMC LONG 60.91 61.22 $0.31
AIZ SHORT 47.68 47.94 $(0.26)
MDC SHORT 37.80 37.80 $-

Total of $0.26 per share. Multiply average share size to estimate gross earnings. 1000 shares per trade would be $260 gross earnings for the day.

Wide-range bar setups for the next trading day. The day trade setup is only good for the upcoming trading session.

Entries, targets, and stops are based on the day's likely inflection points, and natural support and resistance. Avoid trade until bid/ask spread narrows.

Additional stocks may be posted in the Live Trading Room in the morning. The room opens at the opening bell. There is no pre-market analysis or chat, because pre-market data has no effect on how or what I will trade. There are typically no trades within the first 15 minutes of the market session.
