I had a tough day of trading. There will be losing days in trading. No concerns.

In the live trading room at the market open, I expressed concern that I didn't have any long-side setups. I can't predict the market. (Actually, no one can predict the market.) I just don't know if the market is going to snap back and trend in the other direction. If it does, I like to have at least two setups for that side of the market, and I just couldn't find any after Monday's trading.

Just after the first hour of trade, it looked like the market might rollover as it broke down through its Central Pivot. A few of my short-side stock setups triggered at that time. The market sell-off was short lived and then trended upwards for a large portion of the session.

I took a trade in FMC Technologies (FTI) just before the live trading room closed for the morning. The 39-cent stop was just beyond what I typically want, but based on a target almost $1 away and the fact that FTI was breaking to recent lows with no support in sight, I took the trade. I took a full stop-out on the trade.
