Around The Horn: Stocks To Watch For September 16

The chaotic selloff on Monday coupled with the pending FOMC announcement on Tuesday will have been sidelined for much of the session. Tuesday, it seems to me, would be a very good day for most retail traders to spend a day at the beach. While there are plenty of opportunities in terms of pattern that would capitalize on additional downside, a snapback or very erratic day could turn the best plan into a disaster.

For those intent on remaining glued to the screen, a number of Fast Ball short setups do look interesting. Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), Alpha Natural Resources Inc. (ANR), Enersys (ENS), Gen. Growth Properties Inc. (GGP), MDU Resources Group Inc. (MDU), RTI International Metals Inc. (RTI) and Superior Energy Services Inc. (SPN) all appear to have additional downside. Once again however, Tuesday's trading promises to be problematic and sometimes the use for a pair of hands is as a seat cushion.
