Friday, May 9, we had three Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, two were profitable and one was a no-show.

Encore Acquisition Co (EAC) was a Sinker short for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. EAC opened above yesterday’s high, qualifying our setup. Our entry was triggered moments later and the initial profit target hit within the next half hour. Exit was at this level or below. Any shares left open had exit end of day at the Central Pivot, with an initial stop at breakeven.

Unit Corp (UNT) was a Sinker short for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. UNT opened above yesterday’s high, qualifying our setup. Our entry was triggered moments later. UNT bounced up, however and hit the stop loss. Second entry was 10 minute later, and this time UNT traded down to the initial profit, with an exit at this level. Any additional shares left open had an exit at this level later in the day or at the close of day just above this level.
