Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for October 10

Loews Corp Carolina Group (CG) made a Switch Hitter pullback on Tuesday. We will look for a resumption of the recent uptrend on Wednesday to trigger a potential long entry.

International Paper (IP) made a Line Drive move. If the forest and paper products stocks move higher on Wednesday, we will look for a continuation entry opportunity.

Liz Claiborne (LIZ) made a Fast Ball move lower on substantial volume. If pressure becomes evident on the OpenBook early in the session, we will look for an entry opportunity below the Tuesday low.

Moody’s Corp (MCO) also had a Switch Hitter pullback. We will look for a continuation leg to start on Wednesday.

Weingarten Realty Investment (WRI) is a Backdoor Slider setup that has been on our radar for a few days. We will look for pent-up momentum to reassert itself and push the stock higher Wednesday.
