Dr. Adrian Manz shares five stocks that he'll be watching for January 8 trading.

Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for January 8

On Monday, we will keep an eye on the banking indices and BB&T Corporation (BBT). The stock had a Fast Ball breakdown on Thursday and Friday and is below its significant moving averages.

BMC Software Inc. did not trigger a Sinker entry Friday. We will use it again on Monday.

We will also be watching Barr Laboratories Inc (BRL). Fridayâ€™s trading had the stock in a Fast Ball move up through recent resistance.

Cigna Corp (CI) is in a Switch Hitter pullback and has upside to the 20-period simple moving average around 130.

Entergy Corp (ETR) made a Fast Ball move lower out of a consolidation range on heavy volume on Friday. We will be looking for further downside on Monday.
