Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for October 11

On Wednesday, I will be watching American Electric Power (AEP) for a continuation of its Line Drive move on Tuesday.

Beazer Homes (BZH) had a Line Drive move as well, and will be on our watch list if the housing sector (HGX.X) continues to find momentum.

Entergy Corp (ETR) made a Fast Ball move higher on Tuesday and closed at a new high. If energy (DXE.X) pushes higher in early trading, we will be watching for Entergy to attempt a continuation rally. If energy falters, however, we will be on the lookout for a Sinker setup to present itself. Either way, ETR will definitely be on screen throughout the session.

Also in the energies, Goodrich Petroleum (GDP) made a Fast Ball move higher, clearing the 50-period simple moving average in the process. We will look for signs of follow through on Wednesday.

Ryder Systems left a Line Drive setup with a close at the daily high going into Wednesday. We will watch the stock for continuation throughout the trading day.
