Around the Horn: Stocks to Watch for September 8

Boeing Co. (BA), a recent 3-2 Pitch /Switch Hitter setup resumed its descent, moving below the August 29, 2006 Fast Ball low and leaving the stock vulnerable to further downside on Friday.

Ecolab Inc (ECL) left another Fast Ball short setup on Thursday, making yesterday’s Backdoor Slider setup lucrative and adding a downside opportunity for Friday’s trading.

Hershey Foods Corp (HSY) remains on the radar as an extended Backdoor Slider. We will look for a move lower on Friday.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCL) continued its Switch Hitter drop on Thursday. If wekness in leisure continues on Friday, we will look for shorting opportunities on any intraday pullbacks.

Teekay Shipping Corp (TK) consolidated some of Wednesday’s losses and left a Backdoor Slider with a close below the 50 period simple moving average on Thursday. We will look for more downside on further Transportation sector weakness.
