On Tuesday, Alaska Air Group (ALK) made the anticipated move a little earlier than anticipated, as the stock jumped .60 per share in the first fifteen minutes of the session. A poor performance during the balance of the day has ALK on the radar again for Wednesday. This time, we will be watching for an Infield Fly drop, as the stock seems to be having some trouble gaining altitude.

In consumer goods (CMR.X), Liz Claiborne, Inc. put in a strong performance with a Fast Ball expansion of range and volume.   Julie and I will look for early strength on Wednesday to signal the potential for an extension move.

Marathon Oil Group (MRO) looks to be an interesting long candidate for Wednesday, as the stock made a Switch Hitter pullback on Tuesday, and closed well on the day. I will be watching for a move above the Tuesday high prior to initiating any long entry.
