Wednesday was another good one, as we had triggers in Lowes Corp. (LTR) and McGraw Hill (MHP).  Both stocks moved for significant intraday profits. No other Stocks to Watch candidates triggered.

On Thursday I will be watching Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp (BNI), which left a Line Drive on heavy volume above the 20 period simple moving average on the daily chart. The stock has limited upside potential prior to meeting daily resistance, but there is enough room for an intraday profit.

Cemex (CX) also had a Line Drive day, placing the ADR above its 20 and 50 period simple moving averages.  If the stock breaks above 63.15 (February 24 resistance), I will be looking to go long.   Readers should keep in mind that ADR’s (American Deposit Receipts) tend to trade wide spreads, and usually not for the faint of heart.

Bausch & Lomb Inc. (BOL) had a bad day of it on Wednesday as the stock put in a consolidation (type 2) Fast Ball move to the down side on heavy volume. Unless we see a reversal, Thursday’s trading should provide a test of the 64.20 range that supported the stock in late 2005.

Starwood Financial Inc looks ready to resume its upward trend. The stock left a minor Fast Ball pattern on Wednesday, and could be making a move to test the $40 range which served as support last summer and fall.

An infield Fly left Vulcan Materials (VMC) vulnerable to downside pressure on Thursday.  I will watch for entry opportunities a few ticks below the Wednesday low.
